Bird Watching in Ilha Grande

Some people say that bird-watching changes the world. Immersing yourself in the forest or sailing the seas in search for the rarest species, the most beautiful song, the capriciously colored feathers is the most therapeutic existing outing.

The preserved forests of Ilha Grande are the habitat for hundreds of birds. And it is by off the beaten path treks, outside the touristy circuits, that we start the first day of the tour. We are accompanied by two guides, Carlos, expert in birds and Donga, bushman and expert knower of the paths of Ilha Grande.

On the second day, we set off for the island of Jorge Grego. In this oceanic island, we come across the nests of several species of seabirds. It is an beautiful show to observe.
